Learning Texas Culture with Mr. Hugh

As Mr. Hugh Porter our native speaker came from Texas, we have learned a lot from him about his home town.

First, Mr. Hugh showed us some festivals, interesting places, and the Texas Culture.

The most interesting part was when we made the Texas home made burger, and a sheriff badge as symbols of Texas!

All the participants gathered in early in the morning. Before the children went to Pizza Express they had some warm up and short explanation about the activities. Then, the teacher divided the students into three groups for morning walk. When we arrived at Pizza Express and the manager greeted us. After that, the teachers divided the children into two groups. The first group joined the kitchen tour while the second group make the pizza. They had to take turn doing the activities.

Para siswa Snowy English Bintaro berkumpul di pagi hari untuk mengikuti acara yang seru hari ini, yaitu Pembuatan Pizza! Sebelum peserta pergi ke Pizza Express, mereka melakukan pemanasan terlabih dahulu dan mendapatkan penjelasan singkat tentang kegiatan hari itu. Kemudian, para guru membagi siswa menjadi tiga kelompok untuk melakukan jalan pagi. Coba lihat fotonya! Betapa senangnya anak-anak pergi ke Pizza Express. Akhirnya kami tiba di Pizza Express dan manajernya menyambut kami. Setelah itu, para guru membagi siswa menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok pertama bergabung dengan penjelasan tentang dapur dan kelompok kedua membuat Pizza. Kemudian mereka bertukar kegiatan. Akhirnya Pizzanya siap! Tapi para siswa harus membuat sendiri pizzanya. Mereka sangat antusias sekali dengan pizza buatan mereka. Selamat makan!
