Snowy English celebrated its new brand (January 7th, 2017). The students had some performances and we gathered to celebrate and wish for the success of this institution.

What makes it different in Snowy English?

  1. In Snowy English, children learn the moral values and they could express and communicate the words nicely in English. For example: Embedded in the lesson units, children will be practicing gratitude / Thank you, learn to say sorry and forgive others also learn how to show respects to others by using English language.

  2. In Snowy English, we encourage the creativity skill of the students along with the public speaking skill. At the end of every unit, students will make some projects, for Example : Making Your Dream Town, Project about Our Country, Making Biography of favorite person, or Making some Journals/Videos. For the projects, the students should prepare them nicely and present the projects in front of parents/others.

  3. In Snowy English, we support students to develop the critical skill and practice the skills in our classroom discussion, we encourage the skill by asking : "What do you think is happening here?", "What ideas do you have? and we respect and get interested to his or her responses of a topic. At the end of the discussion, we encourage them to be a problem solver : "How would you solve this problem?" "Where do you think we might get more information about this problem?". By doing so, students could learn to develop their analytical, critical and problem solving skill.

  4. In Snowy English, children learn English by doing fun activities according to the topic. Example: Unit about Food they will make or bake some food.

  5. In Snowy English, students also learn other subjects in English or what we call Language Accross Curriculum in each of the lesson unit. For example IT subject (they will discuss about the impact of the Internet), Science (topic about planets/animals/science experiments), Social & Culture (Life in UK or other countries).

Hopefully, students could excel their English as they would practice more and more. Good luck for Snowy English!
